Tschetschulininportti is a performance combining music, movement, and lecture, shedding light on the life of Finnish musician Agnes Tschetschulin (1859–1942).
A graduate of the Helsinki Music Institute (now Sibelius Academy), Tschetschulin built a distinguished international career as a violinist and composer, with her works performed across Europe and the United States. In the late 19th century, she achieved exceptional international visibility — her music was heard abroad more frequently than that of many of her Finnish contemporaries.
Performed by pianist Tiina Karakorpi, violinist Terhi Paldanius, aerialist Ilona Jäntti and professor Susanna Välimäki.
Music: Brahms, Tschetschulin and Bacewicz
Premiere in Kupla, Espoo, Finland 14th November 2025
